DAY MAKER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve customers in a friendly, responsive and timely fashion

  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately

  • Operate quickly in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • Operate POS system to accept online and in-person credit card transactions

  • Stock baked good displays and maintain their appearance

  • Bag bagels for customers

  • Grind, brew and serve coffee

  • Prepare custom and signature espresso drinks

  • Restock condiment bar and other retail supplies

  • Keep floors, counter-spaces and surface areas spotless

  • Maintain cleanliness of customer seating area and bathrooms

  • Wash dishes

  • Assist teammates and work together to collectively execute all tasks

  • Maintain good communication with all staff members

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Friendly, out-going and personable

  • Strong communication skills

  • Neat and organized

  • Openness to learning, coaching and development

  • Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

  • Morning and afternoon, weekday and weekend availability


BAGEL BUILDER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

  • Prep and portion ingredients

  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at station

  • Operate quickly in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station

  • Label, store and rotate food products properly

  • Wash dishes

  • Assist teammates and work together to collectively execute all tasks

  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to follow recipes and directions well

  • Neat and organized

  • Openness to learning, coaching and development

  • Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds


BAKER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and bake goods while ensuring high quality and safety standards

  • Operate commercial machinery

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas

  • Wash dishes

  • Operate quickly in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • Assist teammates and work together to collectively execute all tasks

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to follow recipes and directions

  • Strong attention to detail in product quality and consistency

  • Efficient and clean work style

  • Great ability to manage time productively

  • Openness to learning, coaching and development

  • Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time

  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends required

  • Reliability to arrive to early morning shifts on time


LINE/PREP LEAD

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

  • Operate quickly in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

  • Lead team and work together to collectively execute all daily tasks

  • Assist in the creation of the prep list

  • Prepare food according to production schedules

  • Maintain proper labeling, storing and rotation of food products

  • Maintain daily production records and counts

  • Assist in the production, prep and assembly of catering orders

  • Maintain food temperature log

  • Assist in the receiving of food and supplies

  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks

  • Wash dishes

  • Operate POS system to accept online, in-person and third-party orders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Food safety certification

  • Experience with kitchen prep and cooking on a line

  • Ability to follow recipes and directions well

  • Ability to effectively teach and train

  • Ability to communicate effectively and delegate tasks to others

  • Ability to handle conflicts and resolve them in an appropriate manner

  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills

  • Neat and organized

  • Openness to learning, coaching and development

  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently life up to 50 pounds
